What is rent.kn?
Homes in St Kitts & Nevis to rent by the night or by the month, booked directly with local hosts. For visitors, families coming home, and people living on the island.
I live here. Can I rent by the month?
Yes. Choose By the month when you search, pick a move-in date and how long you need. Monthly stays include water, power and Wi-Fi with fair use, and the host confirms the rate for your dates.
How does booking work?
Choose dates and send a request; nothing is charged. The host confirms, usually within a day, and sends payment details. Once confirmed you get a personal stay link with directions, Wi-Fi and door codes.
How do I sign in?
With Google, or with your email: we send a one-time link, so there is no password to remember. You can set a password if you prefer.
Who can see my stay link?
Anyone you share it with, so keep it to your party. Door codes only appear from 48 hours before check-in to 12 hours after check-out, and each stay gets new codes.
Are the reviews real?
Only guests with a confirmed stay can review, once, after check-out. Every review is published as written.
Can I list my property?
Yes. Tell us about it on the home page and we’ll visit. We add homes one at a time.

What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Ask the host if you need earlier or later.
How do I get into the house?
After your booking is confirmed you receive a personal stay link. Your gate and door codes appear there from 48 hours before check-in until 12 hours after check-out. A new code is issued for every stay.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes. The network name and password are in your stay guide, with a code your phone can scan to join without typing.
Where do I park?
In the yard or in front of the house.
Are pets, smoking or parties allowed?
No pets, no smoking, no loud noise and no parties.
How far is JNF General Hospital?
About 800 m: a flat 13-minute walk, or 4 minutes by car.
How do I get from the airport?
About 10 minutes by taxi. Taxi fares are set by the government; agree the price before you ride.
Do I need a driving permit?
Yes. Visitors need a temporary permit: EC$62.50 for three months or EC$125 for a year, from car-rental companies, the police e-licence portal or the Inland Revenue Department. Drive on the left.
Which currency is used?
The Eastern Caribbean dollar, fixed at EC$2.70 to US$1. US dollars are widely accepted; change usually comes in EC$.
Is the tap water safe?
The Water Services Department states that St Kitts tap water is safe to drink.
When is garbage collected?
Tuesdays from 3:00 AM. Put bags out on Monday evening.
Can I stay for a month or longer?
Yes. Monthly stays include utilities, with fair use on air conditioning, and are popular with contract staff at JNF.
How do I pay?
Your booking is a request until the host confirms it. The host then sends payment details. Card payment on the site is coming.
What happens in hurricane season?
The season runs from 1 June to 30 November. Official advisories come from NEMA, and the host will message you the plan if a storm is forecast.
